With a later departure, stunning waterfalls, guided hikes, and a golden sunset in the mountains, this trip is the only way to go. After a lazy start to your morning in Sydney, embark upon a truly special day in one of the most spectacular World Heritage listed National Parks, the Blue Mountains. You leave the hustle and bustle of the Sydney metropolis and avoid the peak hour traffic. Then, you will explore the Blue Mountains National Park, when the regular tourist buses long gone, leaving us to soak in the golden hours before sunset.

The Blue Mountains span across thousands of hectares of temperate forest, sandstone escarpments, and towering eucalyptus trees which create the infamous “blue” vapour haze under the golden Australian sun. The azure hue gives the mountains a magical charm and a mystical feel that make your Blue Mountains Sunset Tour a truly satisfying and unique experience.

On your Blue Mountains Tour you will learn all about the native flora and fauna as well as the indigenous people of the Blue Mountains. The Blue Mountains has a very special indigenous dream-time creation story of the National Park.

On arriving in the Blue Mountains, you will commence an awe inspiring scenic bushwalk overlooking the breathtaking Jamison Valley. Make your way to a sensational lookout across one of the most remarkable waterfalls in Australia, Wentworth Falls. Walk parts of the National Pass hiking trail with stunning blue cliff faces.

After working up an appetite you can enjoy some free time in a quaint countryside town to grab a coffee and some dinner or snacks.

Late in the afternoon you will arrive at one of the perfect lookouts chosen by our experienced tour guides. This is where you will have a closer look at the iconic Three Sisters sandstone formation. 1. Amazing sunset experience at the blue mountains, whilst there was a few people around. I can only imagine what it would be like during peak season. We managed to avoid the crowds, and get the best of the blue mountains. 5 stars guys.

  2. It was a great tour with spectacular views of the Three Sisters and other scenic spots. Wonderful. Highly recommended.

  3. Our tour guide explained many interesting things about the landscape, plants, animals and the culture of the Aborigines. Before the Blue Mountains Tour we went through a large park to look for wild animals. Jason (Guide) discovered 3 kangaroos and we had lunch in the park. The hike is awesome because you can see many beautiful plants and enjoy a beautiful view. My highlight was the sunset with lila clouds in the sky…

  4. Easily a five star tour. We had ample time to saunter on the bushwalk trails and view the Three Sisters and Jamison Valley. Our tour guide was passionate transporting us back to the time before the coming of the Europeans to the Australia. A great experience. Thanks.

  5. As i went on the blue mountains sunset tour in July the weather was quite cold, of course we did not let the weather get into our way and went to all the famous places in the blue mountains. Because of the weather there was little to see and therefore the tour guide changed the program a bit. This was good as everyone was freezing and liked to stay inside. However as the day almost ended we did not want to give up and therefore decided to go to a last viewing point, and how lucky were we! The clouds started to clear up and all of a sudden we got a stunning view over the blue mountains, definitely worth the wait and made our day so much better!
