Tailored with care for a small group, this day trip is a cosy, informative, and interactive tour with a relaxed pace, and an entertaining tour guide. We ensure that you will have a perfect and unforgettable Hunter Valley Tours adventure.
As we head north across the Harbour Bridge, we leave the city and peak hour madness behind for the rolling hills of the Hunter Valley. With a stop along the way to stretch the legs, we will arrive at our first stop: the Hunter Valley Chocolate Factory showroom for samples of their chocolates and fudges. Then, followed by a time to grab some coffee and relax.
After having the day's cocoa and caffeine fix we progress to something a little more serious. We visit the Hunter Distillery for vodka and liqueur tastings. Set in a shed with a stunning backdrop, the distillery is the only certified organic distillery in the Hunter Valley. They produce an exceptional range of top-shelf spirits which include Vodkas, Liqueurs, Schnapps, and their award-winning Copperwave Gin!
We put some accents to your Hunter Valley Tours by dropping by for scrumptious lunch at the rustic Matilda Bay Brewhouse, situated within the grounds of the Hunter Resort. After lunch, there will be ample time to sample some of the diverse range of ales, lagers, and ciders on tap.
Alternatively, relax with a coffee and enjoy the views over the vineyard. Or, visit a cellar door for an additional exploration of Hunter Valley wines.
And let's not forget the wine! The Hunter Valley is famous for its Semillon, but the region also produces a variety of wines including Shiraz, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Verdelho, etc. We will sample a range of some of our favourites at the two wineries especially selected for their commitment to excellent customer experience and quality wine.
After a full day of sipping, sampling, and slurping in this sensational Hunter Valley Tours, we start to make our way back to the hustle and bustle of Sydney, which by now seems a world away, with comfort stops on the return journey. Leave the safe driving to us; we make sure you arrive back to the city still with plenty of time for dinner with mates or going to a show in town!
