Sustainable Vineyard Practices

At Yileena Park, sustainability is key. We manage the vineyard with minimal intervention to preserve the natural environment, with the vines only receiving organic treatments like liquid fertiliser. This means we get 1-2 tonnes of high quality grapes per acre and we can control every aspect of production. The north facing vineyard gets maximum sun exposure to ripen the grapes and produce wines of extraordinary depth and character.

The Cellar Door

Unlike the big wineries in the Yarra Valley, Yileena Park is a more personal experience. Visitors can enjoy a casual and intimate tasting, often with the owners themselves. The granite bar and timber interior create a warm and cozy atmosphere. This isn’t just a wine tasting; it’s a masterclass in winemaking where you can learn about everything from grapes per acre to the intricacies of aging in oak barrels.

When you visit you can explore the whole cellar, designed for cool cellaring to allow the wines to age in perfect conditions. The result is a wine tasting experience that is connected to the land, history and craftsmanship of Yileena Park.

Unique Flavours with Artisanal Skill

Yileena Park’s Smoking Shed is another aspect of the vineyard’s delicious food offering, with a range of smoked delights made on-site. Smoked cheeses, smoked mushrooms, and duck are all part of the artisanal products that are designed to match the wines. The smoked delights are particularly good with the full-bodied reds so that you can experience it all.

Grand and Historic

Yileena Park combines modern winemaking with historic charm. The ground floor of the estate has French doors leading out to vineyard views and beyond. The estate’s Victorian mantle adds a touch of luxury and is perfect for private functions or special occasions. The combination of history and modernity is all about excellence.
