They manage the unpatrolled beaches by raising awareness about solid currents or steep cliffs.

Getting to Cape Woolamai Beach from Melbourne is easy. If you are coming from Melbourne then it’s about a 2 hour drive via M1 and A420 roads to Phillip Island. From there, just follow the signs to Cape Woolamai and you will find the Cape Woolamai car park right near the beach. Buses run from Melbourne city centre to Phillip Island and also to the beach. The area is well signposted. Cape Woolamai Circuit is a walking track around Lake Woolamai.
