The Walk

Cora Lynn Cascades Waterfall Walk is a 7km return moderate trail that meanders through the rainforest of the Otways. You’ll be surrounded by ferns, tall trees and the sound of water as you walk. The path can be rough and slippery after rain so good footwear is recommended.

  • Grade: Moderate – Some parts of the trail are rough and steep. Suitable for those with a moderate level of fitness.

  • Best Time: Spring and autumn are the best times to visit as the weather is mild and the rainforest is at its best. But the cascades are at their most spectacular after rain and the trail is a green tunnel.

Flora and Fauna

Walking through this old growth rainforest is magic. The track is surrounded by all sorts of flora – blanket leaf, mountain ash, ferns on the forest floor. Keep an eye out for wallabies, echidnas and bird life. The quietness of the track is perfect for bird watching and photography. A great way to see the native wildlife of Victoria’s national parks.
