Estate History

Born Helen Porter Mitchell, Melba achieved international fame before returning to Australia where she bought the property in 1909. Her father, David Mitchell, was a significant builder, and the estate reflects his style. How to Visit Estate

Location

Melba Estate is on Maroondah Highway in Coldstream, Victoria. An hour from Melbourne and in the heart of the Yarra Valley so you can visit other nearby attractions like Yileena Park.

Opening Hours

Open daily 10am – 5pm. Restaurant and Cellar Door open during these hours. Tours run at set times so book in advance.
