The Skydive

We’ll take you to 15,000ft, and then it’s time to jump! The freefall is 60 seconds of pure adrenaline. You’ll reach speeds of up to 200km/h before the parachute deploys. Then, we’ll take you on a scenic flight back to the ground, and you’ll get to see the views of the coastline and the scenery below.

When to Skydive
Skydive over the Great Ocean Road from October to April. This is the warmest time of the year, and the weather is perfect for skydiving – clear skies, mild temperatures and no wind. Mornings are the best time to skydive as the air is more stable and the views are at their best. The calm conditions make for a smooth jump, and you’ll get to see the coastline and surrounding areas in all its glory.
But skydiving is weather dependent, and rain, strong winds, or low clouds can impact your jump. Be flexible with your schedule and be prepared to reschedule. Check the cancellation policy and weather forecast when you book your skydive to avoid disappointment. But it’s worth it.
Get Ready to Jump
- What to Wear:
Wear comfortable clothes for the weather, a t-shirt and pants and enclosed shoes. No flip flops or loose clothing as they can get in the way of the gear. Operators will provide jumpsuits and goggles so just dress comfortably. - Physical and Health Requirements:
To be safe, you must meet certain minimum requirements, including a maximum weight limit, which is usually around 95 kg. People with medical conditions or taking certain medications should seek individual assessment before booking. Legal guardians must sign for participants under 18. Always tell your skydiving operator of any health issues. - Book in Advance:
Skydiving is a popular activity along the Great Ocean Road. Book your skydive well in advance, especially during peak season. This will ensure you get your preferred date and time and plenty of time to prepare for the jump. Many operators also offer mobile ticketing and online checkout.
